1. Introduction

Welcome to JSR Equestrian Club ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing our website, making a booking, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any booking or service.

2. Bookings & Reservations

2.1 Booking Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from JSR Equestrian Club. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

2.2 Payment

Payment can be made online via our secure payment gateway or in cash at the venue. Online payments must be completed at the time of booking. Cash payments must be settled before the session begins.

2.3 Pricing

All prices are listed in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are subject to change without notice. The price displayed at the time of booking is the price you will pay. Group session prices are per person unless otherwise stated.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

3.1 Customer Cancellations

• 48+ hours notice: Full refund or session rescheduling
• 24-48 hours notice: 50% refund or credit toward future booking
• Less than 24 hours notice: No refund
• No-show: No refund

3.2 JSR Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel any session due to weather conditions, horse welfare, insufficient participants, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

3.3 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.

4. Rider Requirements

4.1 Age Requirements

• The minimum age for any activity is 4 years
• For riders under 18, the waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian, or an adult they have authorised
• A parent, guardian or authorised adult must be present and supervising the child for the whole session
• Our instructors decide whether an activity is suitable for a particular child, and some activities are for experienced riders only

4.2 Weight Limit

Maximum rider weight is 85 kg for the safety and welfare of our horses. Riders exceeding this limit may be refused service without refund.

4.3 Health & Safety

Riders must disclose any injury, medical condition, disability, allergy, pregnancy or medication that may affect their safety or the safety of the horse. We reserve the right to refuse or end a session, without refund, if we believe participation poses a safety risk.

4.4 Appropriate Attire

Riders must wear appropriate footwear (closed-toe shoes with a small heel) and comfortable clothing. Riding helmets are mandatory and will be provided.

5. Liability Waiver and Risk

Every participant, or the parent or legal guardian of a participant under 18, must sign the Liability Waiver, Release, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement (the "Waiver") before taking part in any activity. When booking online, the Waiver is signed electronically before payment and a copy is emailed to the signer. The Waiver forms part of these Terms and Conditions, and if there is any inconsistency between them, the Waiver prevails.

5.1 Assumption of Risk

Horse riding and every activity at JSR Equestrian Club are inherently dangerous and involve risks of serious injury, permanent disability and death, including falls, kicks, bites, equipment failure, terrain, weather and unpredictable animal behaviour. Participants take part in every activity at their own risk and assume all risks of taking part, as set out in the Waiver.

5.2 Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, each participant releases, waives and discharges JSR Equestrian Club, its owner, managers, instructors, employees, agents, contractors and representatives from any claim for injury, illness, death, loss or damage arising out of or in connection with participation in our activities, as set out in the Waiver.

5.3 Indemnity

Each participant indemnifies and holds harmless JSR Equestrian Club against all claims, losses, damages, costs and expenses arising from their breach of the Waiver, these Terms or staff instructions, any false or incomplete information they have given, their own misconduct or negligence, and any injury, loss or damage they cause to any other person, horse or property.

5.4 Insurance

JSR Equestrian Club does not hold public liability insurance or any other insurance covering participants. Participants are responsible for their own personal accident and medical insurance, and for all costs of medical treatment, ambulance transport and evacuation.

6. Conduct & Behavior

6.1 Expected Conduct

All participants must treat horses, staff, instructors, and other guests with respect. Abusive, disruptive, or dangerous behavior will result in immediate removal from the premises without refund.

6.2 Alcohol & Substances

Participants under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances will be refused service without refund. Riding while impaired is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent ban from our facilities.

6.3 Instructor Authority

Participants must follow all instructions from JSR Equestrian Club staff and instructors. Failure to comply may result in termination of the session without refund.

7. Photography & Media

JSR Equestrian Club may take photographs or videos during sessions for marketing and promotional purposes. Permission for this is given through the photo and video consent shown when the Waiver is signed. You may withdraw that permission at any time by telling staff or emailing [email protected].

8. Livery & Boarding Services

8.1 Monthly Packages

Livery packages are billed monthly in advance. Payment is due on the 1st of each month. Late payments may result in suspension of services.

8.2 Horse Health

Owners are responsible for all veterinary and farrier costs. JSR Equestrian Club reserves the right to call a veterinarian in emergency situations, with costs billed to the owner.

8.3 Termination Notice

Either party may terminate livery services with 30 days written notice. No refunds will be provided for partial months.

9. Privacy & Personal Data

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing. Signed waivers and the information given with them are kept for 10 years after the last session they cover.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of JSR Equestrian Club and protected by UAE and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

11. Force Majeure

JSR Equestrian Club is not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics, government restrictions, or other acts of God.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these terms or use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
